Sinister Stories

Sinister Stories is a story game inspired by classic horror comics like the old Tales from the Crypt and Vault of Horror stories. It's simultaneously lighthearted and dark, taking a tongue-in-cheek approach to the oddly puritanical moralizing these comics delivered. 

• The game uses a gambling system that requires two six-sided dice, and four-colored poker chips (or other counters). 
• The game shines in short play; expect about two hour game sessions if you're not trying for longer.  
• You can pick it up and play immediately! 
• The rules also assume you're playing a series of stories.
• Included are player rules, "Dealer" rules, and a sample adventure, "The Seal of Satan!"
